This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which NOVASONIX handles your personal data. The following clearly sets out how the data of people who contact NOVASONIX is collected, used and stored.

Remember that every time you use this Website and/or communicate electronically with NOVASONIX, personal data of each USER may be collected and processed, and the processing of such data is governed by this privacy policy.

The data provided by the USER will be processed for the following purposes:

However, the data collected through the curriculum submitted by the interested party will be treated for a maximum period of 1 year, after which, we will proceed to block the data for the legally established time, guaranteeing total respect for confidentiality in both the treatment and its subsequent destruction.

NOVASONIX processes your data within the European Economic Area and, as a general rule, we hire service providers located within the European Economic Area or in countries that have been declared with an adequate level of protection.

If we need to use service providers that carry out processing outside the European Economic Area or in countries that have not been declared with an adequate level of protection, we would ensure that we guarantee the security and legitimacy of the processing of your data by means of adequacy decisions, standard clauses, binding corporate rules, exceptions or any other instrument approved by the supervisory authority that provides adequate guarantees for the performance of the international transfer of data.

Also, NOVASONIX makes available the WhatsApp application so that interested persons can contact those responsible by this means. In this regard, we inform that although the WhatsApp application servers for EU users are located in Ireland, there could be communications with US servers that would involve an international transfer of data which is done with full guarantees in accordance with the Decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework Adequacy of July 10, 2023.

NOVASONIX does not sell, rent or transfer personal data that can identify the USER to third parties without prior consent. They will only be communicated to third parties when strictly necessary and / or there is a legal obligation. In these cases, it will always be done with the strictest standards of security and confidentiality.

  1. – OBLIGATORY REQUIREMENT TO PROVIDE THE REQUESTED INFORMATION. UPDATING OF DATA. THIRD PARTY DATA. USE OF PASSWORDS.

8.1. – All our forms have an asterisk (*) in the mandatory data. If the USER does not provide these fields or does not check the acceptance box of the Privacy Policy, the sending of the information will not be allowed.

8.2. – It is important that in order for us to keep the personal data updated, the USER informs us whenever there has been any change in them, otherwise, we are not responsible for the veracity of them.

The USER guarantees that the personal data provided are truthful, guaranteeing that all the information provided corresponds to the real situation, that it is up to date and accurate, being obliged to communicate any changes.

8.3. – If the USER provides data of third parties for any purpose to NOVASONIX, the USER guarantees that he/she has obtained these data in a lawful manner, that he/she has previously informed the affected parties, obtaining their consent to communicate them and that the information provided is accurate and truthful.

8.4. – In order to access their Professional Area, the USER must “Login” and include the e-mail address and password generated in the registration form according to the rules of complexity that are established at all times on the web.

The USERS are responsible for the proper custody and confidentiality of any of the identifiers and/or passwords that they have selected in the registration and undertake not to transfer their use to third parties, nor allow access to outsiders.

Likewise, it shall be the USER’S obligation to immediately notify the Responsible Party of any event that allows the improper use of the identifiers and/or passwords, such as theft, loss or unauthorized access to them, in order to proceed to their immediate cancellation.

You may also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or the competent data protection authority.

  1. – TREATMENT OF DATA OF MINORS.

Whoever provides the data through the forms on this website and accepts its treatment declares to be over 14 years old, being prohibited access and use of the portal to minors of that age. If at any time, NOVASONIX detects that a minor under 14 years of age has provided personal data, we will proceed to cancel them. Likewise, parents or guardians may in any case contact NOVASONIX to block the access account of minors in their care who have registered by falsifying their identity.
